Port McNeill, BC

Highway 19 connects Port McNeill to Victoria and Nanaimo. It is a paved double-laned highway that stretches the entire length of Vancouver Island. Around major centres, the Highway has been expanded to four lanes. The road is well maintained and motor-home friendly with breathtaking scenery along the entire route.

You can also take an Island Coach Lines/Greyhound bus from any major centre on the island.

B.C. Ferries connects us to the mainland from several directions.  From Victoria and Nanimo to Vancouver, and from Port Hardy to  Prince Rupert via the spectacular Inside Passage.   The Victoria Clipper travels from Seattle, Washington to Victoria.  There is also a local ferry to connect Port McNeill to the communities of Alert Bay and Sointula

Port Hardy is the closest Commercial Airport providing flights to Vancouver, Victoria, Nanaimo and many coastal communities. Air Carriers include Pacific Coastal Airlines.

Northern Vancouver Island is reached by air, road and ferry.
