Search and Explore
For Pinterest users, the Search function is the first step to finding more information about your interests, and the products you’re looking to buy. Under Explore, users first get a look at “today’s picks,” which is a set of personalised recommendations in addition to the top trending topics on Pinterest during the day based on search trends.
Similar to a Google search, once a user types a term in the Search bar, Pinterest shows the best results for that keyword. However you don’t need to ‘go to the next page’ like Google’s search results — instead, just keep scrolling until you run out of relevant Pins.
Pinterest will also help narrow your search by adding suggested keywords and topic areas along the top of your search results. For example, when searching “travel”, the suggested topics were “places to go”, “adventure”, “Greece”. All you have to do is click on the suggestion that is relevant to you, and the results will refresh to include that search term.
