Autumn ‘Lunch & Learn’ - Discovering the potential of your discovernorthernireland.com listing

Kicking off our Autumn series is Tourism NI’s Social & Digital and Visitor Information teams, who manage all content on our consumer facing website discovernorthernireland.com.

During the session Sarah Hannity and Damien Coyle share a range of hints and tips on how to maximise the potential of your individual product listing on the site, including advice on what makes a good listing and the importance of keeping your listing up to date.

The team also briefly explain how to list your business or product on the website, for anyone not yet featured, and share details for how to get in touch and engage with the team to ensure you are each getting the most from your listings.

The discovernorthernireland.com website receives over 3 million visits from visitors annually seeking information on events, attractions, accommodation, and things to see and do in Northern Ireland.

By being listed on discovernorthernireland.com your listing will also be displayed on Tourism Ireland’s consumer website, ireland.com which gives you an opportunity to reach a global audience of 19 million users. In addition, your listing will also be shared with several of the local councils and other partner organisations for publication on their websites.

By having an up-to-date listing there is also the opportunity for the Social and Digital teams to include you in social posts, ezines and campaigns helping to further amplify the reach of your business.

This session was delivered as part of our ongoing Tourism Enterprise Development (TED) Programme. The series has been designed to share the latest useful resources, toolkits and supports we have available for the NI Tourism Industry.
