AVEA Annual Conference 2023
The 2023 Annual Conference of AVEA, Ireland's Association of Visitor Experiences & Attractions, will take place in Co Clare on Monday 23rd and Tuesday 24th October. The theme of the Conference is 'World Class Experiences: Local Authenticity.'
The focus of the conference is on how, in striving to deliver best-in-class visitor experiences, the visitor must feel an authentic sense of place, a unique and special feeling that makes great memories.
Anchored firmly in Co Clare, the conference seeks to generate a personal and emotional bond through place-making, and will feature elements of Clare’s distinctively rich culture and heritage – story-telling, music, landscape and seascape, curiosity, and hospitality.
SUNDAY 22nd OCTOBER 2023: Option of arrival on Sunday with special pre-conference event, and option of return coach transfer from Dublin 2
MONDAY 23RD OCTOBER 2023: 9.00am: Guided Learning Journey to Burren and Cliffs of Moher UNESCO Geopark and Caherconnell Stone Fort, departing The Falls Hotel / 12.00pm: Badge collection opens / 12.30pm: Welcome Delegate Lunch / 1.45pm: Conference Session 1 opens / 5.30pm: Conference Session 1 closes / 7.30pm Reception and Gala Dinner
TUESDAY 24th OCTOBER 2023: 8.00am: Early Morning Programme / 9.00am: Conference Session 2 opens / 12.30pm Conference Session 2 closes / 12.45pm Delegate Farewell Lunch
