Coach and Group Workshop 2022

Tourism NI is delighted to confirm that the Coach and Group Workshop will take place on Friday 16th September 2022 in Derry, Co Londonderry. This is the first time the event has taken place since 2019 and we are delighted to be welcoming around 25-30 carefully picked coach and group operators from Great Britain and the Republic of Ireland to Northern Ireland for a fam trip and workshop.

This workshop creates the perfect opportunity for carefully targeted coach and group operators from GB and ROI to come together with hoteliers, visitor experiences, activity providers, tour guiding associations, local councils and other important tourism representatives from across Northern Ireland to increase awareness of the destinations collective offering.

As our tourism product develops, and our reputation as a must-see destination reaches new heights, it has become increasingly important for the local industry to position their respective business to market at home and on a global stage.

Who should attend?

To attend the event, you should be active in the coach and group market and should have attended at least 1 other Business Solutions networking platform within the last 3 years.

• 3-star and 4-star Hotels suitable for groups
• Visitor Experiences suitable for groups
• Tour Guiding Associations
• Activity Providers working in the group market
• Local Councils and Regional Tourism Organisations

Places at the event will be in extremely high demand and are strictly limited to 1 representation per organisation.  In the event we are oversubscribed, criteria will be applied to ensure the most appropriate industry attend and that there is an even representation from each sector above.

The event will consist of a half day of appointments either in the morning or afternoon.
