Embrace the Inclusive Spirit: How welcoming disabled visitors makes business sense

Belfast City Council are hosting Belfast’s first inclusive tourism seminar to help local businesses realise the potential of growing the disabled tourism market. The event includes a morning seminar from 9.30am to 1.30pm and a drop-in afternoon session from 1pm to 4.30pm.

The event is for Belfast-based tourism businesses and organisations.

Disability rights activist Seán Fitzsimmons will host the morning seminar. The seminar is free but you need to book. Guest speakers include Irish writer, educator, disability activist and director of Tilting the Lens, Sinéad Burke, and accessible travel blogger Carrie-Ann Lightley.

Morning Seminar places are limited to two delegates for an organisation.To book your place at the morning seminar, go to Embrace the Inclusive Spirit. The morning session will also be live streamed.

The afternoon session is drop-in with a marketplace format. Come and connect with colleagues and peers or take part in workshops.
