Embracing Events Masterclass: Delivering Commercially Successful Events

The 'Embracing Events' series kicks off this February with an in-person Masterclass on 'Delivering Commercially Successful Events'.

The economic and political climate in this post-pandemic age is particularly challenging for those working in the live events industry.

Tourism NI is delivering a series of in-person and online events industry development sessions, covering a range of critical themes for events and festivals in Northern Ireland including:

  • Commercial Sustainability
  • Volunteering
  • Delivering Sustainable Events.

These sessions will also provide an opportunity to get together, make new connections, and develop ways of working together.

The 'Embracing Events' series, which is being delivered as part of our ongoing Tourism Enterprise Development (TED) Programme, kicks off this February with an in-person Masterclass on Delivering Commercially Successfully Events.

What to expect?

On the day we will consider a range of revenue streams to help maximise income and look to develop more sustainable financial models.

With guest speakers from home and away, panel discussions, workshops and industry networking opportunities, the aim is to inspire and equip event organisers with the necessary tools and information to become more economically sustainable in an uncertain funding environment.

Who should attend?

This half-day morning event in The Carriage Rooms at Montalto Estate, Ballynahinch, will be of interest to organisers across all industry sectors in Northern Ireland.

It is aimed specifically at those who are responsible for developing and managing event and festival budgets as well as those who work in revenue generation and sponsorship management for those projects.
