Getting Fleadh Ready: Lunch and Learn Industry Session Webinar

To help get businesses ready, Tourism NI is hosting an industry session as part of a wider Fleadh Series focused on practical preparation and long-term opportunity.

The session will begin with a welcome from Áine Kearney, Tourism NI Director of Events, setting the scene for what the Fleadh means for the sector and how businesses can work together to maximise its impact.

Mark Thompson, Tourism NI Visitor Information Manager, will share an update on the new discovernorthernireland.com, how it will ensure that content and products are as “discoverable” as possible, the industry opportunities this presents and the importance of reviewing product listings and content ahead of the influx of visitors. With more travellers planning online than ever before, visibility and strong digital content will play a major role in capturing demand.

The conversation will then turn to the experiences that keep visitors exploring and encourage them to return. Liz Steele, Tourism NI Manager of Culture & Heritage, will cover why experiences matter, what motivates our visitors, how you can use the Embrace a Giant Spirit brand inspirers and other tips and steps to make the most of your experience to capture new and repeat visitors. Creating memorable moments and strong storytelling will be essential in encouraging visitors to explore more of the city and the region.
