Neighbourhood Tourism Investment Programme workshops
This programme is part of Belfast City Council’s Make Yourself at Home tourism plan. It will support the development of market-led tourism products and experiences to strengthen the social and economic regeneration of the city’s neighbourhoods.
Belfast-based tourism businesses and organisations can book an information workshop.
In September 2024, we will launch a pilot Neighbourhood Tourism Investment Programme:
- to develop and enhance tourism experiences, and
- to distribute the benefits of a vibrant tourism sector in local neighbourhoods.
Through this programme, we plan to commission neighbourhood tourism projects from tourism experience-providers or other eligible tourism groups in the Belfast City Council area. We will hold information workshops on the programme during September.
Neighbourhood Tourism Investment Programme information workshops
The workshops run on:
- Tuesday 17 September, 10am to 12 noon in Crescent Arts Centre, University Road
- Tuesday 17 September, 2pm to 4pm, this is an online workshop
- Wednesday 18 September, 10am to 12 noon in Maldron Hotel, Brunswick Street
- Wednesday 18 September, 2pm to 4pm in Templemore Baths
- Thursday 19 September, 10am to 12 noon in Crumlin Road Gaol, 53 Crumlin Road
- Thursday 19 September, 2pm to 4pm in The James Connolly Visitor Centre, 374-376 Falls Road.
