Northern Ireland ITOA Workshop 2023
Following the success of the 2022 Northern Ireland ITOA (Incoming Tour Operators Association Ireland) Workshop, Tourism Northern Ireland are delighted to confirm that the event will take place on Wednesday 15th November 2023 at the Armagh City Hotel, Co Armagh.
In 2022, tourists handled by ITOA members spent €462 million holidaying in the island of Ireland. They delivered 537,00 promotable visitors to the island of Ireland and are a valued strategic partner of Tourism NI.
The ITOA Workshop is an ideal platform for ITOA members to come together with a range of Northern Ireland Industry. Around 70 individual ITOA members from 37 organisations will join the workshop. As Northern Ireland’s tourism product continues to develop, and our reputation as a must-see destination reaches new heights, it has become increasingly important for the local industry to position their respective business to this lucrative group. The event will comprise of a 1-day workshop, in addition there will be an opportunity to attend a networking dinner and space will be allocated separately for this.
Who should attend?
To attend the event, you should be active in the coach and group, FIT and MICE market and must have attended at least 1 other Business Solutions networking platform within the last 3 years.
- 3-star, 4-star and 5-star hotels
- Experience providers
- Tour guiding associations (no individual tour guides)
- Activity providers
- Special interest providers
- Local Councils and Regional Tourism Organisations
- Luxury & MICE providers
You should also be able to demonstrate that you meet the following criteria:
- Have attended a Business Solutions workshop in the past 2 years at least once
- Can facilitate tour group and pre-booked FIT business
- Are able to offer net negotiated commissionable trade rates
- Are able to contract with international tour operators
- Are focused on the international marketplace
Places at the event will be in extremely high demand and are strictly limited to 1 representative per organisation. In the event we become oversubscribed, additional criteria will be applied to ensure the most appropriate industry attend and that there is an even representation from each sector above.
If you do not hear from us within 7 days of the closing date, you have not been allocated a place at the event. You will be placed on a waitlist and, should space become available, we will contact you.
The registration fee to participate in this valuable platform for a full day of appointments will be £200 + VAT (£240)
