Outdoor Tourism Sectoral Forum

Tourism NI and Ireland’s Association for Adventure Tourism (IAAT) would like to invite you to an outdoor tourism sectoral forum.

This event is focused on the many challenges and opportunities for the outdoor tourism sector in your area specifically and across Northern Ireland, as we begin to reflect on the season and look forward to 2025. Topics covered will include sector performance, marketing of adventure tourism, insurance, regenerative tourism, access, and best practice standards.

When and Where?

The outdoor sectoral forums will run from 3pm – 4.30pm, and will take place across two locations as follows:

  • Tuesday 5th November: Silverbirch Hotel, Omagh

Register here for Omagh

  • Thursday 7th November: Killeavy Castle Estate, Newry

Register here for Newry

The forums have been scheduled to coincide with the Innovate Tourism Roadshow which we hope enables industry to make the best use of their time and benefit from both events.

Who are IAAT?

Established in 2018, Ireland’s Association for Adventure Tourism (IAAT) is the representative body for more than 250 adventure activity tourism operators on the island of Ireland. The organisation works with adventure tourism operators to develop the sector in a sustainable and responsible manner.

Tourism NI and Ireland’s Association for Adventure Tourism (IAAT) have launched a 12-month initiative which includes a range of activities such as regional events, networking and training opportunities.

What can you expect on the day?

In conjunction with your local Council, we are delighted to offer this free opportunity and look forward to meeting outdoor tourism providers from Fermanagh & Omagh, Newry Mourne & Down and the surrounding areas.
