Tourism NI Autumn 2022 Marketing Campaign

Our Autumn 2022 Marketing campaign is planned to launch on Monday 19th September in NI and ROI markets and will run for 6 weeks, showcasing a broad range of experiences throughout Northern Ireland.

The Autumn burst of activity will focus on Open Minded Explorers in ROI, and Natural Quality Seekers in NI. In addition, both markets will have 3 weeks of focused activity on family segments in the run up to Mid-term October school holidays.

The segments above have been identified though research as those with the highest propensity to take a short break in NI over the Autumn period. The campaign is designed to support the industry by driving short breaks and inspire our segments to see, do and spend more on a short break in Northern Ireland, whilst building knowledge of what NI has to offer, delivering clear and compelling reasons to visit.

Tourism NI is again supporting industry marketing efforts though the Co-operative marketing fund which supports businesses by encouraging them to undertake their own marketing and align with ours to further maximise their reach and engagement. Industry offers will be hosted on our website to underpin and support the campaign and encourage consumers to book breaks and experiences throughout Northern Ireland.

Activity will follow a regional approach, participants are encouraged to support these where possible. Planned for the weeks commencing:

19 Sep – Derry ~ Londonderry
26 Sep –Belfast
3 Oct – Mournes and Strangford
10 Oct – Armagh and Down
17 Oct – Causeway Coastal Route
24 Oct – Fermanagh and Tyrone
