Tourism NI’s Chairman Applauds Successful Golf Tournament
Tourism NI’s Chairman Terence Brannigan has congratulated the 2021 ISPS HANDA World Invitational winners - Pajaree Anannarukarn, Brendan Lawlor and Daniel Gavins as well as the event organisers for delivering a highly successful tournament. The tournament took place at Galgorm Castle and Massereene Golf Clubs from July 28 – August 1, 2021.
Tourism NI worked closely with the organisers and sponsors on logistics and marketing for the event and Galgorm Castle and Masserene Golf Clubs increased safety measures for guests and team members to ensure stringent protocols were in place.
Congratulating the winners and organisers on their successes, Tourism NI’s Chairman said,
“The 2021 ISPS HANDA World Invitational was a huge success. It showcased Northern Ireland on a global stage and highlighted our ability to deliver world class events. Major events such as this are crucial to building our tourism economy and once again, we have shown that Northern Ireland is made for golf.”
He added: “The tournament was a fantastic endorsement of Northern Ireland as a compelling place to visit and demonstrated our ability to leverage opportunities for our destination with restrictions in place. I offer my congratulations to the three winners and to everyone who played a part in delivering a successful tournament.”
