A US tour operator for more than 40 years, Gate 1 Travel offers a variety of affordable, quality escorted and independent tours, including several types of packages to the Island of Ireland.
Northern Ireland features in a wide range of Gate 1 itineraries, which include experiences from right across the country.
This year, for the first time, Get 1 Travel held its annual Travel Tour Managers Seminar in Northern Ireland to team build in advance of the busy season ahead.
As part of the gathering, Tourism Northern Ireland hosted a welcome evening for the 40 members of the Gate 1 Travel team at The Europa Hotel, as well as a finale event at Titanic Belfast.
The staging of the seminar in Northern Ireland was a valuable opportunity for Tourism Northern Ireland to meet and network with the Gate 1 Travel senior management team, and also showcase Belfast and some of the north’s key tourism offerings.
George Diamondis, Head of Business Solutions at Tourism Northern Ireland said: “Tourism Northern Ireland was proud to support Gate 1 Travel in hosting its 2026 Tour Managers Seminar in Belfast.
“Gate 1 is a highly valued partner, bringing visitors from North America to experience the very best of Northern Ireland year after year.
“Hosting the seminar here provided an important opportunity to strengthen our relationship with Gate 1’s senior leadership and the tour managers who play such a vital role in shaping visitors’ experiences on the ground.”
Marty Seslow, Vice President of Marketing at Gate 1 Travel, said: “We were excited to host our Tour Manager Seminar in Belfast. As a city where we regularly welcome our clients, Belfast provided a unique setting for this important event.
“Our tour managers had the opportunity to deepen their understanding of our company’s values and learn how we ensure every tour is run with the highest standards of service and care. It’s an exciting chance to further enhance the exceptional experiences we deliver to our guests.”
