Recruitment and Retention in Hospitality and Tourism, are we doing all we can?
Tourism Northern Ireland held an in-person masterclass on Tuesday 22nd March from 9:30am - 1pm to examine recruitment and retention within the NI Tourism and Hospitality Sector. The event was held in The Lounge in The Rabbit Hotel, 882 Antrim Road, Templepatrick, Ballyclare, BT39 0AH.
During the event we heard from experts including -
Author, Mentor and Facilitator, Katrina Collier. Katrina has over 20 years' experience in the recruitment industry, both agency and in-house. She has published her own book 'The Robot-Proof Recruiter', featured in Forbes and has appeared on BBC World News.
Katrina outlined her tips on recruitment and looking at what attributes and practices help make companies excellent to work for. She will be shining a light on companies who are deploying tactics to address recruitment and retention issues.
We were also joined by Dr Paul Redmond, Author, Keynote Speaker and Employment Guru. Paul is a leading expert on generations, the future of work and the graduate employment market. He focused on how talent can be retained once recruited!
