Eimear Callaghan - Director of Client Engagement

Eimear Callaghan is Director of Client Engagement at Tourism NI, with over 20 years' experience in tourism development, international sales, and strategic marketing across both the public and private sectors. 

In this role, Eimear leads Tourism NI's industry-facing functions, working closely with tourism businesses, industry partners, government departments, local authorities, and stakeholders across Northern Ireland. Through a strong focus on client engagement, commercial insight, and sector leadership, Eimear is responsible for supporting business growth, driving innovation, embedding quality, and enhancing the competitiveness of Northern Ireland's tourism offering on the regional and international stage. 

Throughout her career at Tourism NI, Eimear has led impactful change, developing more commercial and market-focused approaches across International Travel Trade, Business Events, Golf Tourism, Experience Development and demand generation activities. Her work has helped strengthen industry partnerships and deliver sustainable growth for the visitor economy. 

Prior to joining Tourism NI, Eimear worked as an Account Director within a leading full-service advertising agency, where she developed strategic campaigns that delivered measurable sales growth for a range of high-profile brands
