Local Government District Tourism Statistics
Tourism statistics are presented for each of the 11 Local Government Districts (based on overnight trips)
Tourism NI has produced a suite of local government district (LGD) outputs based on 2023 tourism performance statistics published by the Northern Ireland Statistics & Research Agency (NISRA). The 2023 LGD Infographic provides the key metrics (trips, nights and spend) for the 11 LGDs, while the 2023 LGD Summary Report provides more detail and insights for each area.
The 2023 LGD Fact Cards provide an 'at a glance' look at key metrics as well as visitor demographics, reason for visit, accommodation performance (stock and occupancy) as well as tourism job and business figures. Fact Cards from previous years can also be viewed below. Please note: NISRA did not publish official tourism performance statistics from 2020-2022.
